Paul and Marie Gallowitsch have been outstanding members of the Northport Community for 40 years. Throughout this time, they have been running Skipper’s Pub located in the very heart of the village. They spent many years enriching the community in the service and care of others.
On or around July 30th 2015 Skipper’s Pub filed for a rooftop extension for its customers. An application was sent to the Northport Zoning Board on the grounds of outdoor dining.
The project was denied by the Northport Zoning Board. Paul and Marie, feeling that the decision was unfair, filled an appeal to the Supreme Court as an Article 78.
